Lotions & Potions for beautiful skin. Herbs, recipes and information to help you be your best self.

Who I Am

Greetings! My name is Kim Elovirta. I am owner of and caretaker to Raven’s Edge, LLC,  a home-based holistic wellness practice in the northwest hills of Connecticut. I am an herbalist, healer, cook, soap maker, teacher and far more than the sum of my parts.
My love of learning led me to a soap making class and then to herbal classes and they meshed so well with my love of cooking that it grew into a deep passion.  I never bought another bar of soap for my family again and from there started making all of my skin care products.  This grew into my lotions & potions for beautiful skin.  I still make everything in small batches filled with organic ingredients and healing love.
As an herbalist and healer, I believe fully in Hippocrates quote “Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food.” I am an outspoken defender of an individual's personal power when it comes to medicine and health. I strive to teach people how to identify and use local plants and herbs to maintain vibrant health, how to eat according to their particular requirements, and how to embrace an extraordinary holistic lifestyle. I am dedicated to returning home the Medicine of the People. I do this by offering you opportunities to reconnect with your own power by exploring the forgotten wellness choices that you have - and have always had. I strive to help you to see, acknowledge, honor and act on the choices and behaviors that may best serve you in your life.  I offer private wellness consultations which may include customized herbals and cooking options.
Workshops I offer regionally include weed walks, soap making, cooking with herbs and more! An herbal apothecary is also available to you for all those supplies a home or village herbalist needs.
With every service that I offer, I also strive to help you re-discover the natural healer within; so that you may nurture peace and wholeness within; to make educated decisions and be your most beautiful self.

While I consider myself Self-Taught in many aspects of my life, be it with herbs or cooking or whatever, I have studied formally, and continue to read, take classes and workshops that support and nurture all the parts of me.

These are my "Credentials" - as they say:
Studied at Walk in the Woods, LLC
Advanced Herbal Studies, Sage Mountain Retreat Center
Member, Connecticut Herb Association (CHA)
Member, United Plant Savers (UpS)
Member, Handcrafted Soap & Cosmetic Guild
